Dave's Buttermilk Pudding

Yield: 4-5 servings
Great on cold winter evenings!Ingredients:
1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin1 cup whole milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 tablespoons sugar
1 cup well-shaken buttermilk
Instructions:
Sprinkle the gelatin over 1 cup milk in a small bowl, wait 1 minute.Add vanilla extract. Add sugar. Bring to a boil over low to medium heat, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat. Add gelatin mixture to hot milk mixture. Stir until dissolved. Quick-chill in an ice bath, stirring occasionally, until cold but not thickened, about 5-10 minutes.
Stir in buttermilk. Pour into bowls and chill until set, at least 6 hours.
