Apple Pancakes

Yield: Makes approximately 10.

These are delicious with warm maple syrup and sausages.

  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped apple

Sift together dry ingredients. Combine egg and milk and add to flour mixture. Beat until smooth. Add butter and apple, and stir until well blended. Bake on lightly greased hot griddle, turning once.
