Carolina Shrimp Butter

Yield: Serves 10-12
Serve with crackers, on sliced cucumbers, or as stuffing for cherry tomatoes. --The Ram in the Thicket, Wilton, New Hampshire
- 1 pound cream cheese, softened
- 2 ounces butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon dry sherry
- 1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juke
- 1/4 teaspoon mace
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne (or to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/4 pound shrimp, cooked and minced
Beat all ingredients with electric mixer until well blended. For best flavor, store overnight or for several hours in refrigerator.
