This is my own dumpling recipe. My husband and children just love them.
Dumplings
- 2 cups self rising flour
- 1and 1/2 teaspoons parsley
- salt to taste
- water (enough to wet flour)
In a bowl mix flour, parsley, salt and just enough water to wet flour.
Roll out on floured board; cut into square-shaped pieces with a pizza cutter.
Chicken Broth
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 cups cooked chicken slices
Stir together first four ingredients in a large soup pot. Bring to a boil.
Grandually place dough slices in boiling broth mix. Cover and cook on medium to low heat for 15 minutes.
Add cooked chicken and stir. Let sit at least 20 minutes before serving.
