Cold Prevention Soup

Yield: Makes 4 servings.
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- ground pepper, to taste
- 1 bay leaf
- juice of 1 lemon
Combine all ingredients except the lemon juice in a saucepan and simmer briefly. Remove from heat and add the lemon juice. Remove the bay leaf and sip the soup from a mug so you can inhale the steam Ñ sure relief when a cold is coming on!
