Pickles and Preserves Recipes

  • 1 quart cranberries
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water

Simmer cranberries in the water for 20 minutes or until soft. Rub through a sieve (or put through a food mill). Add sugar and return to the stove. Bring to a rolling boil and cook for about 5 minutes. Pour into a wet mold or glasses immediately as jelly hardens quickly. Chill.
