French Dressing

- 2/3 cup olive oil or any other salad oil
- 1/3 cup vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- freshly ground pepper, black or white
- 1 clove garlic, crushed, if desired
Shake ingredients together in a screw top jar and store in the refrigerator.
