Hamburger Stew
Soups, Stews, Chowders Recipes
This is something that I accidentally came up with when we had almost no food. It was so good that it's been in my family for about 15 years.
- 2-1/2 to 3 pounds hamburger
- 2 cans of Veg-all (I also add a can of cut green beans, corn, and carrots.)
- 2 cans pork 'n beans
- 1 package Ramen noodles (optional)
- 1 can tomatoes, diced (optional)
Brown hamburger meat. Drain the grease and place meat into a large and deep pot. Add all ingredients into pot with meat. Do not drain the cans of vegetables. Break the Ramen noodles into small pieces. Add water until it is about 1-1/2 inches over everything in your pot. Cook, covered, on low heat for about 1-1/2-2 hours. Salt and pepper to taste.
