Hot Apricot Punch

Yield: 6 servings
- 1/2 cup currants or golden raisins
- 1/2 cup Grand Marnier
- 1 can (12 ounces) apricot nectar
- 2 cups apple cider
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 6 whole cloves
- 1 unpeeled orange, sliced thin
Soak currants or raisins overnight in Grand Marnier. Combine apricot nectar, cider, sugar, and spices. Bring to a boil on top of the stove and simmer, covered, for 1 hour. Add orange slices, currants, and Grand Marnier. Cover and simmer slowly for at least half an hour. Remove spices and serve hot.
