Yield: 6 to 8 servings
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 2 small cans tomato paste
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup dry wine
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon basil
- 2-pound can tomatoes
- lasagna noodles
- 1 package mozzarella
- 1 large container cottage cheese (about 3 cups)
- 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
- 2 eggs, beated
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Sauté meat with tomato paste, garlic, wine, salt, basil and tomatoes for 1 hour. Cook lasagne noodles about 15 minutes in boiling salt water, drain and rinse.
Mix remaining ingredients together. Alternate layers in 10x13-inch Pyrex dish starting with sauce and ending with mozzerella.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. Let cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
