This sauce is very good served on chocolate or coffee ice cream or on chocolate cake or gingerbread.
- 2-1/2 cups sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 small can (3/4 cup) evaporated milk
- about 3/4 jar or marshmallow fluff
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Combine all of the ingredients except the vanilla and stir over a low flame until blended. Remove from the flame and add the vanilla.
