Moma's Peach Dump Cake

My mother makes this for us. It's very simple and very good!
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup sifted self-rising flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 large can sliced peaches/heavy syrup
Preheat oven 400 degrees F.
Melt stick of butter in 2 quart casserole dish. Mix together all ingredients (except peaches). Pour into casserole dish. Evenly pour peaches onto batter. Bake for 55-60 minutes. Goes great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
