Yield: 8 cups
- 1 pound ground chuck
- 2 packages brown gravy mix
- 6 tablespoons flour
- 1 quart water
- 1 can (14.5-ounce diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables or peas
- 2 cups chopped celery
- 1/2 cup sliced carrots
- 1 can green beans
- salt and pepper to taste
Brown the ground chuck in skillet, add the two packages of brown gravy mix, stir in flour. Add 1 quart water, diced tomatoes, chopped onion, frozen mixed vegetables, celery, green beans, and salt and pepper.
Simmer for 1 hour, stir often.
