Great marinade for pork and chicken too!
- 1 6-ounce can frozen orange juice, any brand
- 1 6-ounce can of water
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup packed light brown or brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- salt and pepper to taste
- 5 pounds pork loin, cut into 1-1/2 inch cubes
- Cherry tomatoes
- Onion wedges
- Red bell pepper wedges
- Fresh mushrooms
Combine orange juice, water, soy sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl; mix well. Place pork (or chicken) in an airtight container. Pour marinade over meat and refrigerate, covered, overnight. stirring once or twice.
Thread meat on skewers, alternating with veggies.
Grill over medium hot coals for 10-15 minutes or until done, turning often and basting with marinade.
This is a great marinade for grilled chicken breasts/thighs or pork steaks/chops as well.
*Add fresh orange wedges and green seedless grapes for a real treat!
