This wonderful recipe came from my sister-in-law in Indiana. It warms you up on a cold day!!
- 6 large potatoes, peeled & cubed
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2-3 stalks of diced celery
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 package Mexican shredded cheese
- 1 chunk Velvetta cheese
- 1 packages smoked sausage, cubed
- 2-3 cups milk, depending on how soupy you like it
- salt and pepper to taste
Cook potatoes, celery, and onions together in enough water to cover until tender. Drain off some of the water, leaving 1-2 cups of the potato water. Add cream of chicken soup, Mexican & Velvetta cheese, sausage and milk. Mix together and heat through. Enjoy!!
