Yield: 6 to 8 servings
This recipe is from a local restaraunt in Massachusetts. It is so easy and so good, I've yet to meet someone who doesn't like it!
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 16-ounce can stewed tomatoes
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 small bag frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 to 3 15- or 16-ounce cans beef broth
- 1 to 2 cups cooked orzo
In a dutch oven brown ground beef; season to taste.
Once beef is browned, add all ingredients except orzo. Season to taste. Bring to a boil.
Add orzo and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.

I received this recipe 35 years ago, made it many times, and lost the recipe. Yeah for Google. I knew you would have it. It originally called for a can of veg-all which really has no nutrition. Frozen is much better. This is real comfort food!!!! – Reviewed by constance flynn
