German Baked Beans

Yield: Serves 6-8.
A sweet, hearty, high-protein dish that goes well with cold cuts, rolls, and salad.Ingredients:
1/2 pound hamburger1 small onion, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
3-1/2 cups homemade baked beans, or 1 large can (1 pound, 13 ounces)
1/4 cup catsup 3 tablespoons brown sugar (or less to taste)
3/4 cup applesauce 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Brown hamburger and onion in butter. Combine with remaining ingredients in large casserole dish. Bake at 325 degrees F for 45 minutes.Browse Similar Recipes
