Moist and easy! My Grandmother gave me this recipe.Ingredients:
1 cup cornmeal1 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt, optional
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons oil or margarine
Instructions:
Mix dry ingredients and whisk good before you add the liquid ingredients. Add liquid ingredients and mix, then pour into a round coated baking pan.Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes or until the surface just starts to brown.
