  • 1 quart cider
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 4 to 6 cinnamon sticks

Combine all ingredients except cinnamon sticks in saucepan and heat to boiling. Remove from heat and set aside for 15 minutes to 1 hour to allow flavors to blend. When ready to serve, reheat cider, pour into mugs, and place a cinnamon stick into each mug.

A little on the tangy side, but very good. Keeps well in the fridge and tastes even better re-heated!
