Maine Pecan Pie

Yield: 8 to 10 servings
The addition of pure maple syrup makes this wonderful pie unique. Gram's recipes are always the best.Ingredients:
3 lightly beaten eggs1/2 cup white corn syrup
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup white sugar combined with 1 tablespoon flour
1/2 stick (4 tablespoons) butter
2/3 cup pecans
1 9-inch pie crust (unbaked)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix first 8 ingredients and pour into the pie shell. Bake for 10 minutes. Lower oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake until knife blade comes out clean (50 to 60 minutes).Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream or fresh whipped cream.
