Marshmallow Sauce

This sauce is very good served on chocolate or coffee ice cream or on chocolate cake or gingerbread.

Ingredients:

  • 2-1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small can (3/4 cup) evaporated milk
  • about 3/4 jar or marshmallow fluff
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions:

Combine all of the ingredients except the vanilla and stir over a low flame until blended. Remove from the flame and add the vanilla.
