With an electric mixer, cream butter and sugar, then beat in eggs. Sift together dry ingredients and stir into the butter mixture. Add brewed coffee and mix. Bake in a greased and floured 8-inch square pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.

While cake is cooling, heat chocolate and coffee for glaze in a double boiler. When cake is cool, pour warm glaze over cake.
