Heat the oven to 400 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Blend in remaining ingredients. Fill cookie press with 1/4 of the dough at a time for desired shapes on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 6 to 9 minutes or until set but not brown. A variation that's especially nice at Christmas is to replace the almond extract with mint extract, and to add green food coloring to the dough. Then your tree and wreath shapes will be more "Christmas-y."
