Yield: Serves 6.
Don't confuse this with any other rice pudding you ever had. This old English recipe is rich and luscious, and every-one in your family will love it.Ingredients:
1 quart milk1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup uncooked brown rice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions:
Mix all the ingredients together and put in a casserole. Bake, uncovered, for 3 hours in a 300 degrees F oven.
During the first hour, stir the pudding every 20 minutes.
Serve with a lacing of cream.
