1 c. peanut butter
2 1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. confectioners’ sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
Cream peanut butter and margarine. Add confectioners sugar. Shape into eggs. Chill and coat with Chocolate Easter Egg Coating.
1 8 oz. chocolate bar
1 sq. unsweetened chocolate
2 tbsp. shortening
1 tbsp. shaved parowax
Melt all ingredients together in pan over hot water (not boiling). When melted, dip eggs quickly with a table fork and place on wax paper or cookie sheet to cool.
