Yield: Makes 9 squares.

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 3 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Topping:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions:

Combine dry streusel ingredients. Cream butter and sugar. Stir in egg and juice, then dry ingredients and nuts. Pour into greased 9x9-inch pan. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter. Bake about 30 minutes at 375 degrees F.
