Yield: Makes enough for an 8-pound bird.
A hearty stuffing to cook inside the turkey or prepare as a side dish. If used separately, bake in buttered dish at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.Ingredients:
4 cups mashed potatoes2 cups bread crumbs
1 cup minced onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs, well beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning, or 1/2 teaspoon sage and 1/2 teaspoon thyme
Instructions:
Combine potatoes and crumbs. Sauté onion and celery in butter until tender. Add to potato mixture. Add eggs and seasonings and mix well. Stuff loosely into turkey.Browse Similar Recipes
