  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup chopped English walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 4 egg whites

Instructions:

Cream together the shortening and the sugar. Sift the flour with the baking powder and salt and add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
