Stillmeadow Baked Pears

Yield: 8 servings
Ingredients:
butter for greasing1/4 cup Brownulated brown sugar
4 red pears
8 pats of butter
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup orange juice
2 cups vanilla yogurt (best at room temperature)
1 kiwifruit
2 bananas
1/2 cup blueberries
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly butter a 9x12-inch baking dish. Cover bottom of buttered dish with Brownulated brown sugar.Leaving skin on, cut pears in half lengthwise, on either side of core. Discard center cores and stems. Place pear halves, cut side down, in sugared dish. Top each pear half with a pat of butter, then sprinkle each with pumpkin ppie spice. Pour orange juice around pears. Bake until pears are soft, 20 to 25 minutes.
Serve pear halves on prepared plate over a dollop of vanilla yogurt. Spoon remaining sauce (in bottom of baking dish) over each pear. Garnish with kiwifruit, bananas, and blueberries.
