Ingredients:

  • 3 pints fresh strawberries
  • 2 tablespoon kirsch, optional
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1-1/4 cups whipping cream
  • mint leaves, to garnish

Instructions:

Set aside 8 to 10 perfect berries for garnish. Clean and hull the rest, then puree in a blender. Blend in the kirsch and sugar. Whip the cream in a chilled bowl, then fold in the pureed strawberry mixture. Spoon into glasses, or into a single glass dessert bowl, and refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish with mint leaves and whole strawberries.
