Yield: Serves 6

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 pint strawberries, mashed
  • 1 beaten egg white (optional)

Instructions:

Cream together the butter and the sugar. Add the strawberries, and if desired the beaten egg white. Spoon over hot fluffy rice, over ice cream, cut up pears, or other fruit.
