Tomato Fondue

Yield: Serves 6

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 cups canned tomatoes
  • 1-1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, diced
  • 4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 4 egg whites, beaten stiff

Instructions:

Add tomatoes to crumbs, season with salt and paprika and place over low heat. Add the cheese and melt it, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, add the egg yolks, fold in the egg whites. Pour into a greased baking dish and bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes.
