Double recipe sugar cookies

Yield: lots of softed cookies

From Joyce Charboneau

  • 4c. Flour
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 t. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 t. soda
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs

Mix all ingredents and roll out on to floured board, to 1/4 in thick and cut. Sprinkle with sugar or just bake for 8 to 12 min. at 400* and frosting
