Monster Cookies
Cookies and Bars Recipes
Yield: Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1-1/2 cups peanut butter (crunchy)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon syrup (any kind)
- 1 small bag of M&M-type candies
- 4-1/2 cups oatmeal (quick oats)
Mix in order given. Drop by tablespoons on greased cookie sheets. Flatten. Bake 12 minutes at 350 degrees F.
This recipe contains no flour and freezes well. You can substitute creamy peanut butter for crunchy.

I don't like recipes calling for three eggs as they are too difficult to halve. This one was tasty, the cookies freeze nicely, but there are just too many. Okay for huge cookie-eating families, or a party of teenagers. – Reviewed by Annie Morgan
