Gifts from the Kitchen
Whether you give or receive these homemade creations, bursting with flavor, the joy will last all winter.
by Annie B. Copps
To give or receive something handmade--especially if it's edible--feels more in the spirit of the season than any collection of wrapped boxes from a store ever could. Whipping up a batch of delicious treats is a great cold-weather project. Your special gifts may get gobbled up shortly after the ribbons come off, or the lucky recipients may savor them weeks later, after all the lights and baubles are packed away. Either way, your thoughtfulness will be remembered for a long time to come.
You might also print these recipes by hand, or in a graceful computer font, to include with your gifts. And don't forget presentation: Each gift can be wrapped and festooned in any style you choose, and for any of this season's holidays--so be bold, be creative, and let your imagination soar.

Annie, Do you ever offer any gluten-free recipes? Have this problem, and I do so like to eat! Many recipes are not that tasty -- Joan
