Green Briar Jam Kitchen
East Sandwich, MA
Green Briar is open year-round offering live animal exhibits, changing gallery exhibits, wildflower garden, natural history library and walking trails through the adjacent Briar Patch Conservation Area. The historic Jam Kitchen has been producing jams, jellies and relishes since 1903 using traditional methods. Today the kitchen is a “living museum,” where visitors may view the cooking process first-hand. Proceeds from the sale of kitchen products help to support the environmental education programs of the Thornton W. Burgess Society and its Green Briar Nature Center. Voted Best Jam.
