The Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom has undergone many changes since it opened in 1899, but it remains one of the premier venues for fun and entertainment in the region. The Ballroom has hosted everyone from Bing Crosby to The Who. In 2010, Pollstar ranked the Casino Ballroom #23 in the Top 100 Worldwide Club Venues. With less than 3,000 seats, it’s an intimate place to see your favorite acts. Located at 169 Ocean Blvd., Hampton Beach, NH.

The venue was opened as Hampton Beach Casino in 1899 by Wallace D. Lovell, a businessman who owned the Exeter, Hampton and Amesbury Street Railway Company. Lovell hoped to bring more business and tourism into the Hampton Beach area. In 1927, the ballroom was added. New owners wanted a facility that could hold 5,000 people, and thus the Casino Ballroom was born. After the expansion, the Casino Ballroom hadthe largest dance floor in New England, and 20,000 people a week showed up. In the 1970s, the place was renamed “Club Casino,” and acts such as Roy Orbison, Wayne Newton, Jerry Seinfeld, Tom Jones, George Carlin and Ray Charles played there.

In the 1990s, the name was changed to the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, and the acts just keep getting better and better. The Black Crowes, Jerry Garcia Band, Dropkick Murphys, Phish, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Bill Cosby, and many, many other acts have all played there, and the bookings keep happening.
