The Inn at Weathersfield
Perkinsville, VT 05151
A rambling, luxuriously relaxing place to stay and one of the best places to dine in the Green Mountain State.
–Yankee Magazine, November/December 2011
Innkeepers Jane and David Sandelman rescued this historic 1792 stagecoach stop from oblivion in 2002, creating a wonderful escape from 21st-century cares (although the inn is WiFi wired). Hawk Mountain looms above the gracious inn, which looks offers 12 guest rooms and looks out over a scenic pond on 21 peaceful, out-of-the way acres. Gourmands beat a path to the door for chef Scott Myers’ outstanding cuisine in the 1880s carriage house. They are drawn by a menu that mixes seafood and wild game, farm-fresh ingredients, and flavors ranging from Asia to the American Southwest.
