Podcasting is a new way of experiencing audio on the Internet. A podcast is an audio program on the Internet that you can subscribe to with podcast software on your own computer. When new episodes are released, your podcast software can be set to automatically download the audio file and, optionally, to transfer it to your iPod or other portable MP3 player. Think of podcasting as a sort of "automatic VCR for Internet audio."
