Boylston Historical Society and Museum was formed in 1972 to "preserve the past for the future." The society maintains its headquarters, museum, and library in the old town hall in Boylston, Massachusetts, and offers a series of programs of historical interest. It will be working with YANKEE Magazine's Community Partners to preserve Hillside, the estate of John B. Gough, a leader in the 19th-century international temperance movement.
