Annual Best of NH Party in Manchester | June 20 Event Fundraiser for the New Hampshire Food Bank

MANCHESTER, NH (May 31, 2013)—This year’s Best of NH Party will feature award-winning food and beverages from more than 60 establishments located across the Granite State, as chosen by the readers and editors of New Hampshire Magazine, plus live music and entertainment. The celebration runs from 5:30 to 8 pm at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester on June 20, 2013.

“The Best of NH Party continues to be a hugely popular event—and for good reason,” says Rick Broussard, editor of New Hampshire Magazine. “We’ve brought together the best food and drink establishments from across the state to one location so guests can wine, dine and enjoy non-stop entertainment. This year, we’ve lowered ticket prices to $69 which covers a full evening of fun, food and music. And proceeds from the event’s ticket sales will benefit New Hampshire Food Bank, a program of New Hampshire Catholic Charities.”

This year’s entertainment line-up includes: Manchuka, an incredible jazz-funk dance band from Manchester; the Rocking Horse Review, an eclectic roster of up-and-coming local talent backed by some of the state’s best session musicians; On Air, an award-winning barbershop quartet featuring the Singing Chef Jason McCarter; the juggling and unicycle antics of Spoof Gabbling Circus and the roving close-up magic of Andrew Pinard.

The Food Bank, the largest non-profit food distribution center in the state, obtains and distributes donated and purchased food to more than 400 registered agencies.
