- 1c. brown sugar (I use Florida Crystals or Sucanat instead)
- 2 c. oatmeal (rolled oats)
- 1c. margarine (I use butter)
- 1 c. flour (I use ww pastry flour)
- 1 t. baking soda
Put all ingredients into a large bowl and mix with your hands (the more you
mash and squeeze the better you feel and the better the cookies taste).
Form into small balls and put on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Butter the bottom of a glass or plastic cup. Dip the glass in granulated
sugar. Mash each ball flat with the glass. Redip the glass in sugar before
each cookie. (We skip these steps and just flatten them with our hands.)
Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.
