Yield: Serves 6-8.
So simple, so good. Use fresh or dry frozen berries.Ingredients:
1 quart blueberries1 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Baking Powder Dumplings (recipe follows)
Instructions:
Wash and clean blueberries. Add sugar and nutmeg. Cover with water and let come to rolling boil. Reduce heat, add dumplings, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve hot.Baking Powder Dumplings
Ingredients:
2 cups flour2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons shortening
1/2 cup milk
Instructions:
