Yield: Serves 6-8.
So simple, so good. This recipe for homemade blueberry slump -- a fruit dessert that has "dumpling" dough dropped onto it and baked -- works well with fresh or frozen berries..
Wash and clean blueberries. Add sugar and nutmeg. Cover with water and let come to rolling boil. Reduce heat, add dumplings, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
Mix all ingredients together and drop into blueberry mixture.
