Yield: Serves 10-12
Dark brown, dense, sweet, and spicy. Be sure the baking dish is well greased so the bread can be easily removed. Serve warm from the oven with butter or cream cheese. --Hawthorne Inn, Concord, MassachusettsIngredients:
3/4 cup honey3/4 cup molasses
3-1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons ginger
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons allspice
Dash of salt
2 cups milk
1 cup raisins
1 to 2 tablespoons marmalade
