- Chicken Continental
- Frying chicken pieces (up to 4 lbs. - you can use any of your
- Favorite pieces, whole or cut up)
- 1/3 cup seasoned flour
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2-1/2 Tbs. Grated onion
- 1 tsp. Salt
- Dash pepepr
- 1 Tbs. Parsley flakes
- 1/8 tsp. Thyme
- 1-1/3 cups water
- 1-1/3 cups minute rice
Flour chicken, brown in butter, and set aside. Stir soup,
Seasonings, and water into drippings. Stir and bring to a boil.
Spread rice in shallow baking dish. Pour soup mixture over rice.
Mix. Top with chicken. Cover and bake 30 minutes at 375.
