Great-Grandma Gravel's Biscuits a la Creme Sure (Sour Cream Cookies)

Ingredients:
5 cups flour1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
2 cups sugar
1 cup sour cream
3 beaten eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
Sift flour and baking soda. Beat butter and shortening, gradually add sugar until mixture is creamy. Add sour cream and eggs. Add flour and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly brown.According to the recipe they don't last long in the cookie jar.
