The heavy cream took away from the taste of the veggies. Also, if making this- DO NOT cut up the salt pork, you’ll spend all your time fishing the little pieces out.
What a great recipe! I grew up on this and it’s one of my favorites today. How we looked forward to the first peas coming out of the garden!
