Oven Fried Fish Fillets

This recipe for Oven Fried Fish Fillets is an excellent way to prepare fish. It's better than ordinary frying, and it won't smell up your kitchen.

- 2 pounds firm whitefish fillets, such as cod
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup crushed cornflakes
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- Lemon wedges
Instructions:Cut the fillets into serving pieces. Add the salt to the milk. Dip the fillets in milk and roll in the cornflake crumbs. Place on a shallow, well-greased baking pan, skin down. Sprinkle each piece with melted butter or margarine.
Bake in a 500 degree oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish flakes. Garnish with lemon wedges and serve with tartar sauce.
