Oven Fried Fish Fillets

Yield: Serves 4.

This recipe for Oven Fried Fish Fillets is an excellent way to prepare fish. It's better than ordinary frying, and it won't smell up your kitchen.
Oven Fried Fish Fillets

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds fish fillets
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • lemon wedges

Instructions:

Cut the fillets into serving pieces. Add the salt to the milk. Dip the fillets in milk and roll in the cornflake crumbs. Place on a shallow, well-greased baking pan, skin down. Sprinkle each piece with melted butter or margarine.

Bake in a 500 degree oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish flakes. Garnish with lemon wedges.
