Paprika Chicken Stew

- 4 pcs smoked bacon
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 cans Sam's chicken
- Salt and pepper
- 1 large onions
- 2-3 carrots
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 Tbsp flour
- 1 1/2 rounded Tbsp paprika
- 1/2 Tbsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp dried marjoram
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 20oz crushed tomatoes
- 2 1/2 Tbsp butter
- 16 potato pierogies (*or 16oz egg noodles)
- (Dumplings w/mashed potatoes inside)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 Tbsp chives
Instructions:In large pot add olive oil.
Brown bacon and break up.
Add chicken, salt/pepper,and chicken broth.
In another skillet, saute onions, carrots, and garlic in butter.
Add saute to pot,Stir in spices.
Make hole in center of pot, add flour and cook for a minute or two.
Add tomatoes and stir all together.
*Prepare noodles, then add to pot.
Brown pierogies in butter.
Serve stew w/dollop of sour cream.
Top with pierogies, sprinkle with chives.
*If pierogies are not available.
