This is an old family recipe that my Dad is famous for making. All the grandkids love it and named it after him! It goes with everything and is simple and delicious. You can double the recipe for a larger crowd.Ingredients:
1 cup Uncle Bens white rice1 can Campbells beef consomme broth
1 can water
1 Knorr beef bouillon cube
1 small onion, chopped (optional)
Olive oil
Gravy Master
Instructions:
Heat olive oil and cook onion until soft. Add rice and brown lightly. Add beef consomme, 1 can of water, and beef bouilion cube. Cover and bring to a boil. Lower heat and gently simmer, stirring occasionally, until almost all the liquid is absorbed. Take off the heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
